The Old Machinery Magazine talks to Kerry Pietsch about his one-off uniquely engineered 1960 Deutz D5 14S Model tractor in this episode. A few years ago, Kerry and a mate got into tractor trekking, using the same tractor that Kerry used to do work at home. He put a double seat on it so they could both ride in it at the same time, but it didn’t have a cab, which came back to hurt them when they were out one day and got caught in a hailstorm. They couldn’t outrun it, and when they got home, Kerry said to his mate, “If we’re going to keep doing this tractor business, we really need one with a cab on it!”. TOMM spoke to Kerry Pietsch about how he found this unique Deutz tractor and what he had to do to get it started and running, before they took it on a trek from Lockhart to the 2023 NHMA National Rally in Mudgee, NSW. #tomm #oldmachinery #machinery #antique #tractor #theoldmachinerymagazine #magazine #deutz
