Steve Harley’s 1938 Massey Harris Pacemaker tractor features in the October/November 2022 issue (#223) of The Old Machinery Magazine. From the beginning of the restoration in March 2020, the project required a lot of work to the bottom end of the engine and the most involved rebuild that Steve had undertaken up to this date. The engine finally fired up for the first time in May 2021, after which some additional components and parts were included from a donor tractor, before the Pacemaker restoration project was declared complete.
