This Imperial diesel engine, No. 4082F, took out the ‘prize’ for the ‘Best Unrestored Engine’ at the recent Quirindi Rural Heritage Village rally.  It was found in a creek bed at Quipolly, near Quirindi. A pepper tree had grown up through the engine over many years. It is now on display at the Quirindi Rural Heritage Village, NSW. *Beryl Mannion, Quirindi, NSW
