Restoration of a Lanz Bulldog
11 min read

This story started back in the mid 1990s. While at a friend’s place in the north of Victoria, I noticed a Lanz Bulldog crawler wreck. Upon asking if it was for sale, I was informed that it was not his to sell but he would contact the owner to see if he would sell it. A few weeks later, he rang to inform me that the owner did not want to sell it.

This looks bad!

Fast-forward to 2013. While visiting my friend again, I noticed the crawler wreck was still in the same position as it was years ago. Again, I asked if it was for sale, and again the reply was ‘no, not for sale’, but my friend decided to give me the owner’s number. So, after many calls and actually going to visit the owner, the answer was still the same, ‘not for sale’.
