About a hundred vintage tractors converged on the small country town of Brunswick Junction, 160km south of Perth, on the 16 April, to take part in ‘Lights on the Hill’.
This annual event is organised by Tracmach, the Vintage Tractor and Machinery Association of WA, and was held on a hill at a farm on the outskirts of town. The name of this vintage tractor rally comes from the fact that it runs into the night. The paddock where the rally was held was lit by several light towers, as well as the lights on the old tractors; these lights are visible from the nearby South Western Highway.
