Much has been written, about Fordson tractors and their place in the history of agriculture, and the Fordson collection at the Dardanup Heritage Park, near Bunbury, WA, is well worth visiting.
In 1945, 80% of farm tractors in England, Wales and Scotland, were Fordsons. The reason for this was that they had been on the market since 1918, and were cheap to buy.
