Chamberlain 9G Tractor Restoration

My brother, Des, and I are avid collectors of old tractors but there are some that hold more significance to us than others, with one, in particular, being a standout - a 1962 9G Chamberlain.

In 1966, when I was about 7-years-old, I remember coming home from school and there in the shed was a brand new 1966 9G. Then, some time in the early 1970s, our dad and our uncle needed a linkage tractor so they bought a secondhand 1962 model with the canvas cover cab from T.P. O’Brien & Son, who were the local Chamberlain dealers. I spent many hours when I was growing up, on both of these tractors.
